In their own words

Interpreting New Zealand provides interpreting services of the highest professional and ethical standards to meet its vision of an Aotearoa free of language barriers.

We know our interpreters personally and match them to best suit customer needs, based on their experience level, culture, gender.

All interpreters are:

  • carefully selected & vetted
  • comprehensively trained (40 hours)
  • fully assessed for linguistic & interpreting competence
  • signed up to a code of ethics
  • supported with mentoring, counselling and ongoing professional development.

We have provided interpreters to Government agencies since 1993. Interpreting NZ is an experienced, reliable 24/7 supplier of phone, video and face to face interpreting.

Government agencies eligible to join collaborative contracts can request pricing data for the syndicated contract by emailing LAS@mbie.govt.nz. Other organisations (such as NGOs, PHOs and private companies) are not eligible to participate and will need to contact the provider for pricing.
