Business Events Research Programme (2009-2019)
The Business Events Research Programme ran from 2009 to 2019, through a partnership between Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ), the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and many Convention Bureaux across New Zealand.

The objective of the programme was to:
- monitor MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) activity in New Zealand
- estimate the contribution multi-day business events make to the New Zealand economy.
A new Business Events Data Programme is now led by CINZ and the Regional Convention Bureaux. Information on this programme is available on the CINZ website.
