Tristan Gilbertson reappointed to the Commerce Commission
The telecommunications service obligations (TSO) regulatory framework established under the Telecommunications Act 2001 enables specific telecommunications services to be available and affordable.
The postal Deed of Understanding sets out the minimum obligations of the national mail carrier, New Zealand Post, for the sale and delivery of postal products.
Consultation on proposed changes to the government’s Deed of Understanding with NZ Post closed on 10 December. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has received a total of 1,546 submissions, including submissions sent to the Minister for Media and Communications that have been passed on to MBIE.
