Recognised Seasonal Employer policy review – Summary of Submissions

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment sought feedback on the Recognised Seasonal Employer scheme from key industry, community and agency stakeholders to inform the development of final policy recommendations for the Recognised Seasonal Employer policy review. Input was sought on the current state of the scheme, and in response to policy proposals suggested through the review. A high-level summary of the submissions received was developed and provided to Cabinet alongside the review’s recommendations, to summarise the input collected during the review process.

Samoan Quota and Pacific Access Category settlement information pilot evaluation

Findings from the evaluation of the 2018 pilot of strengthened settlement information for the Pacific Access Category (PAC) and Samoan Quota (SQ) ballot winners. The purpose of the evaluation is to understand whether the pilot was successful in helping PAC and SQ migrants prepare for a new life in New Zealand. This will provide a view on how the resources and processes could be improved in the future to better help Pacific migrants plan for life in New Zealand.

Findings from the evaluation of the Welcoming Communities pilot programme. The interim and final evaluation reports cover the development, implementation, early outcomes and lessons learned during the 2-year pilot programme from July 2017 to June 2019.
