Callaghan Innovation systems transition

About the project

This initiative supports the transfer of selected Callaghan Innovation functions to MBIE. This includes moving people, technology, data, contracts, records and funding arrangements while maintaining continuity for research and development grants, tax-incentive support and innovation programmes. The transition also places business innovation services alongside MBIE’s wider business and intellectual property services. The project is supporting the transfer of Callaghan Innovation functions, systems and services to MBIE.

Current focus

Completing the transition and closing the project in an orderly way.

Latest update

The project is in its second and final year. Delivery remains on track and no return-to-green action is required.
