The Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, with the Office for Disability Issues, asked for feedback on six proposed changes to help move to better, more modern video interpreting and relay services to help Deaf, deafblind, hearing-impaired, and speech-impaired New Zealanders to communicate with hearing-people over the phone.
We want to know what you think about some changes we’re proposing to make to the video interpreting and relay services.
Proposing the removal of the schedule method.
In 2021 Xerra Earth Observation Institute received $7 million (excl GST) for the Starboard Platform over a 2 year period from July 2021 to June 2023.
The Government is amending the penalties for breaching the Fair Trading Act 1986 to provide a strong deterrent for unfair and misleading conduct, and making changes to enable product safety standards to be kept up to date. These changes aim to better protect consumers and provide businesses that trade fairly with a level playing field.
As previously noted, the roadmap provides a high-level view of the TDLG’s recommendations and priorities for the tourism data system over the next 2 years.
