The Tourism Environment Leadership Group, supported by MBIE, are now carefully considering the feedback received and are working towards a final version.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) sought views on proposed new settings for the Skilled Migrant Category residence visa.
We are consulting on proposed changes to temporary work visa settings, through the Essential Skills visa policy. The focus of this review is to manage the settlement expectations of lower-skilled migrants who have no pathway to residence, and reinforce the temporary nature of the Essential Skills visa.
Consultation has now closed on a new approach to employer-assisted work visas and regional workforce planning.
The Government’s public consultation on how to make freedom camping in New Zealand more sustainable is now complete. A summary of submissions document has been published and policy changes have been announced.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is seeking feedback on the draft Plan of Action against forced labour, people trafficking and slavery.
