To lead the development of this phase of the ITP, a Leadership Group was established.
Our work touches on the daily lives of New Zealanders. We grow opportunities (Puāwai), act as a guardian and protect (Kaihāpai), and innovate and navigate towards a better future (Auaha).
At 30 June 2023, we employed 6,515 people. Our strength is in the diversity of our people whose work supports communities and businesses across Aotearoa New Zealand. We aspire to better reflect the communities we serve and manaaki (uplift and care for) one another to deliver for New Zealanders.

Destination Management brings together different stakeholders to achieve the common goal of developing a well-managed, sustainable visitor destination. It is an ongoing process that requires destinations to plan for the future and considers the social, economic, cultural and environmental risks and opportunities.
The Government has released an update to Going For Growth, outlining progress on initiatives aimed at strengthening New Zealand’s economy and achieving its goal of doubling the value of exports within 10 years.
