Business advisory services
- Provides effective and efficient business advisory services for branch managers and employees.
- Prepares Branch reporting to a high standard.
- Coordinates input into MBIE accountability processes, including Select Committee hearings and annual reports.
- Provides financial support, including maintaining sensitive expenditure process and practice, completing month-end journals, accruals, and reconciliation, and supports financial assurance activities.
- Provides contract management support, including ensuring all contracts are entered into the contract management system, drafting contracts and corresponding approval memos, liaising with MBIE procurement, and advising managers on relevant MBIE and AOG procurement policies and processes.
- Maintains the health and safety system within the branch and monitors that all requirements are being met and registers maintained.
- Maintains and seeks to continuously improve branch processes, ensuring they are aligned to MBIE policies.
- Works with branch employees to provide Official Information Act (OIA) responses to requestors, ensuring the business unit meets the statutory timeliness and quality standards.
- Provides project coordination to key branch projects.
- Ensure the Business Continuity plans, and related documents are updated on a regular basis.
