A benefit is a measurable improvement resulting from an investment outcome perceived as an advantage by one or more stakeholders.

Cost recovery for the Offshore Renewable Energy Regulatory Regime

As part of Electrify NZ, the Government has committed to delivering a regulatory regime for offshore renewable energy, to enable investment and deliver clean energy at scale. This paper sets out the proposed approach to recovering the costs of the offshore renewable energy regime, focussing on the proposed fees and levies relevant to the feasibility phase. Submissions will inform advice on the first tranche of cost recovery regulations.
