Communities of Practice

Join a G-REG community of practice to expand your networks, share ideas, and grow your professional knowledge and skills.

Me mahi tahi tātou mō te oranga o te katoa.

Let us work together for the good of all.

G-REG itself is a community of practice, gathered around the field of regulation, and seeking to improve the leadership, culture, practice and capability of organisations and individuals who carry out regulatory work.

Smaller communities of practice are also forming within the wider G-REG community, where they can focus on a specific domain. We currently operate 3 communities of practice.

Each G-REG community of practice sets its own priorities and agenda in line with the broader G-REG purpose.

Members can connect through community chat, formal events and meetings, and individual or small group meet ups. Everyone is encouraged to get to know each other, and to give and receive support as able and needed.

G-REG communities are fostered by kaitiaki (guardians) who organise the more formal elements of the community, and ensure that the community is thriving, connected, and supported. The goal for all communities is that they are community operated and driven with background support from the G-REG Secretariat team as needed. Our goal is to connect regulators and create an environment for the community to flourish.
