Regional Workforce Plan
The Tāmaki Makaurau Regional Skills Leadership Group’s first Regional Workforce Plan, “Building the Workforce for Better Jobs”, is an ambitious plan for workforce and skills development that delivers good skills, good jobs, good businesses, and ultimately, a good quality of life. With our region contributing nearly 40% of national GDP and 36% of the labour market, what happens here matters. The Regional Workforce plan outlines the workforce and skills barriers the region faces, and how we can find new ways of building a prosperous region, where no one is left behind.
