Regional Tourism Boost funding extended

A third round of funding has been announced for the Regional Tourism Boost initiative, aimed at encouraging international visitors to travel beyond main centres and outside peak seasons.

The latest round provides $5 million to support marketing campaigns that promote regional destinations across New Zealand. Campaigns will focus on travel during spring and early summer, targeting increased visitor spend in regional communities.
Applications are now open for Regional Tourism Organisation-led campaigns that encourage visitors to explore regional attractions, accommodation, and hospitality offerings.
