The Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment has launched an online toolkit for people designing and implementing regulation about how international regulatory cooperation works in practice.
MBIE is one of the biggest regulatory departments in New Zealand. About three-quarters of what we do relates to designing and delivering regulatory systems. We are responsible for stewardship of 112 statutes.
MBIE is seeking submissions on an exposure draft of regulations to be made under sections 227 and 228 of the Telecommunications Act 2001.
