We undertook a consultation over May and June 2023 on a set of draft assumptions about the future state of the electricity system. These assumptions will be used to produce our regular Electricity Demand and Generation Scenarios (EDGS) publication.

Funding was allocated through multiple funding rounds with the final set of projects announced in September 2023. The Fund is now closed.

In August 2020, the Government established a new fund to trial renewable energy technologies on Māori and public housing.
