The Cawthron Institute Trust Board is receiving Smart Ideas funding for the following projects.
The Government has selected 16 research projects for funding through the latest round of the MBIE-administered Te Pūnaha Hihiko: Vision Mātauranga Capability Fund.
Te Runanga o Te Rarawa Trustee Limited is receiving Smart Ideas funding for the following projects.
16 new projects will receive funding worth $4 million over the next 2 years through the 10th investment round of the Te Pūnaha Hihiko: Vision Mātauranga Capability Fund (VMCF) 2022.
University of Auckland is receiving Smart Ideas funding for the following projects.
The National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) receives $42.7 million per year for 3 science platforms - Marine environment, Freshwater environment, and Climate and weather hazards.
Plant and Food Research receives $42.7 million per year of Strategic Science Investment Fund (SSIF) funding for 2 science platforms – Plant-based food and seafood production and Premium plant-based and seafood products.
Algavive Limited is receiving Smart Ideas funding for the following projects.
Through the 2025 Te Pūnaha Hihiko: Vision Mātauranga Capability Fund funding round, the Government is investing in 15 projects that will strengthen capability, innovation capacity and networks between Māori and the science, innovation and technology system, for the benefit of New Zealand.
