This Snapshot covers key trends from March 2022 to September 2022.
We survey recent migrants about their experiences of life in New Zealand and report on their settlement outcomes. We also survey New Zealanders about their perceptions of migrants and immigration to better understand community attitudes.
The Government is investing in an infrastructure platform for 2 nationally significant longitudinal studies, the Christchurch Health and Development Study, and the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Study.
On 6 November 2014, 4 amendment Acts received Royal Assent. Together these Acts improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting and audit markets.
Current tourism and conservation projects’ progress.
We use a range of funding and support programmes to invest the majority of our science and innovation funds. Each programme is supported with comprehensive documentation covering application and assessment details.
To ensure prosperity now and into the future, our people, sectors and regions will need ongoing adaptation to changing national and global environments. This year has witnessed MBIE’s work towards supporting our people and businesses across regions to adapt to uncertainties.
Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research receives $17.4 million per year of Strategic Science Investment Fund (SSIF) funding for 2 science platforms - Land-based ecosystems and Enhancing land use.
