Interim Hydrogen Roadmap - Archived

The Interim Hydrogen Roadmap outlines the Government’s thinking on the role hydrogen could play in our wider energy transition to net zero by 2050, the actions Government is progressing to support safe and timely uptake and areas signalled for further consideration. A final Roadmap will be published alongside the New Zealand Energy Strategy by the end of 2024. This version of the Interim Hydrogen Roadmap has been superseded by a reissued version. This was to update references to reflect the reissued Hydrogen Economic Modelling Report. This version is archived as a record of the document that was published during the public consultation period on the Interim Hydrogen Roadmap, which ran from 9 August to 2 November 2023.
