Monthly Regional Tourism Estimates (MRTEs)

The Monthly Regional Tourism Estimates (MRTEs) provide estimates of regional monthly expenditure on tourism from both international and domestic consumers using tourism electronics card transaction data, tourism satellite account data, and international visitor survey data. The MRTEs indicate tourism’s contribution to the national and regional economies.

Due to the closure of Data Ventures, the provider of the MRTE, releases of the MRTE have been temporarily halted.
