About the tools
The Regional Economic Activity Tools present economic data on New Zealand’s 16 main regions, and the 66 territorial authority areas within them. The tools highlight the trends, challenges and opportunities each region faces. They're useful to support planning and better decision making at all levels.
The Regional Economic Activity web tool, mobile app and summary reports are regularly updated with new data as it becomes available from source providers.
Mobile apps
The mobile apps for Android and Apple smartphones are available to download for free. They provide economic information — including key figures and charts — on 16 regional council areas and 66 territorial authority areas in New Zealand.
