Reporting under Article 22 of the ILO constitution
As a member of the ILO, New Zealand is required to report on its application of ILO Conventions.
We produce reports that are statements of current law, policy and practice in New Zealand in relation to the Conventions’ requirements.
The reports are produced on a cyclical basis, and are submitted to the ILO following comment from the tripartite partners (the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions (NZCTU), and Business New Zealand) and after obtaining ministerial approval.
As most of the reports provide updates to information already given in earlier reports, some will not include a complete picture of New Zealand’s policy and legislation relating to the Convention in question. Please contact the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment if you wish to obtain copies of reports.
If you would like further information regarding New Zealand’s obligations as a member of the ILO, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
