MBIE seeks researchers in alternative proteins for Singapore bilateral research scoping workshop

Published: 06 August 2019

MBIE is now seeking researchers skilled in areas applicable to alternative proteins who are interested in attending a 2-day workshop in Singapore in November 2019 to represent the interests of New Zealand in future foods research with Singapore.

The purpose of the workshop is to identify potential areas and methods of collaboration with Singapore on future foods (alternative proteins). It is intended to support and inform a much larger programme of work related to a Call for Proposals that will be released early 2020. That funding will support joint future foods research projects between Singaporean and New Zealand researchers.  The workshop will help to identify priority areas of mutual research interest, and appropriate mechanisms for achieving productive partnerships.

This Expression of Interest is for the workshop only and is not a funding application. MBIE will cover travel, accommodation, food and incidental costs for the chosen participants.

For more information about the workshop, eligibility criteria and how to apply, see the Expression of Interest.
