MBIE seeks data scientists for Singapore bilateral research scoping workshop

Published: 09 July 2019

MBIE is seeking data science researchers who are interested in attending a 2-day workshop in Singapore in October 2019 and representing the interests of the New Zealand data science sector.

The purpose of the workshop is to identify potential areas and methods of collaboration with Singapore on data science. It is intended to support and inform a much larger programme of work related to a Call for Proposals that will be released early 2020. That funding will support joint data science research projects between Singaporean and New Zealand researchers. The workshop will help to identify priority areas of mutual research interest, and appropriate mechanisms for achieving productive partnerships.

This Expression of Interest is for the workshop only and is not a funding application. MBIE will cover travel, accommodation, food and incidental costs for the participants.

For more information about the workshop, eligibility criteria and how to apply, see the Expression of Interest.
