Call for participation in the ICT in Precision Food Systems 2019 National Workshop and International Technical Meeting
Published: 23 July 2019
We invite Expressions of Interest from New Zealand-based researchers in relevant fields to attend two International Bioeconomy Forum (IBF) Working Group events in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Precision Food Systems.
The National Workshop, hosted by the New Zealand-led ICT in Precision Food Systems Working Group, will be held in Wellington to:
- Develop and promote New Zealand collaboration opportunities in ICT in Precision Food Systems research, and
- Form a New Zealand perspective on ICT in Precision Food Systems for discussion at the upcoming IBF international meetings, including the ICT in Precision Food Systems International Technical Meeting in Europe.
Delegates selected to attend the National Workshop will get a greater understanding of research activity occurring on this topic in New Zealand. They will also understand more about the IBF and how it can provide opportunities to connect them with international researchers in the field.
All New Zealand researchers are invited to apply to attend the National Workshop.
International technical meeting
Five researchers from the National Workshop will be funded to attend the International Technical Meeting. All other National Workshop attendees are invited to attend the International Technical Meeting, but will be required to cover their own costs. This meeting is a key opportunity to create connections with international delegates at the forefront of this subject.
See the Expression of Interest for details of the participation selection criteria and how to apply.
Expressions of interest can be submitted now until 12 noon, 5 August 2019.
