The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has a critical role to play in the success of the rebuild and recovery.
MBIE is playing its part by helping ensure repairs are undertaken safely and correctly and there are enough of the right type of workers, supporting the revitalisation of the inner city, assisting people to find temporary accommodation and improving ways to mass purchase goods and services.
