Anticipating supply and demand in the labour market is a core service of the Evidence, Monitoring and Governance Branch. Analysis and commentary from our forecasting programme informs New Zealand employers and Government policy.

Short-term employment forecasts

Employment forecasts over 3 years are presented in these reports. The forecasts will be used to inform the Ministry’s advice relating to immigration priorities, and priority setting for tertiary education and industry training over the next 2-3 years.
