Find out about the Government Centre for Dispute Resolution team at MBIE.

The GCDR is a multi-disciplinary team of talented and experienced professionals. Team members come from diverse backgrounds including policy, research, law and business analysis, as well as dispute resolution practice and scheme design. We take an agile and responsive approach to working with agencies across the government sector. The team delivers excellent dispute resolution outcomes at all levels - for users, for government and for systems.

Caroline brings wide experience in the legal and policy arenas and unbounded enthusiasm to her role as Director of GCDR.

She has worked in a wide variety of roles across a number of government agencies. She has a strong interest in cross-government collaboration and co-ordination.

The GCDR provides an opportunity to bring all this together and to drive the work of the team forward with a steady hand.

The GCDR does not resolve or assist people directly with complaints or disputes. We provide support and advice to government agencies in developing and reviewing dispute resolution schemes.
